Napier’s work has been included in exhibitions that have influenced the digital art around the world.

Mark Napier, born painter and transformed into new media artist, is a pioneer in the field of arts and interactive technologies in physical platforms and  NetArt. Through his early works in web, such as “The Shredder”, “Digital Landfill” and “Feed”, Napier explores the potential of networks around the world as a public space for virtual art.

His experience has led him to be an art of software developer, using code as an expressive form and the Internet as its exhibition space and laboratory. The  Napier’s online study, potatoland.org, is an interactive art space open to the public. Napier creates a wide range of projects that are taking existing information on the Internet, transforming the content to abstraction,  graphics texts and information, making Art.

In 2008, the year that we kicks off Duplo’s activities, our story was inaugurated with the visit of  this remarkable artist.
