Grow is a system that takes advantage of existing spaces in the city, complemented by the urban participation to irrigate, cultivate, and monitor the status of these crops, using technology for the common good and analyzing human behaviors that emulate nature allow for the future to implement self-sustaining systems, by natural linking between man and environment.


GROW – collective agriculture – is an interactive experiment consists of 10 devices placed vertically in an urban area to be defined and each comprising: a container like a pocket on black canvas, an electronic circuit: 1 batery of 9 volts, 1 radio x-bee, 1 microprocessor, 2 leds –red/green-, 1 humidity sensor and 1 plastic hose, with 1 end to the first stand, dripping into the second and is for third, etc.. and the other end into a bottle or container with water that irrigates the crop, pumped via force sensor activated by the steps of passersby.
