Having an address is how we exist in a society, or what makes us citizens, in part, is where we get our mail, where friends and family or contact us.

A home is where we validate the existence in a physical space. It is a shelter that protects us and our intimate space.

Fragmentation of society, fast changes, migrant & dynamic communities, society composed of groups … SHELLHOUSE [living-portable] becomes a refuge of folding carton with radio for the homeless, providing a portable direction. Is the starting point for a way to introduce mobile communications to people without access to it.

In 2009 we made a meeting “Living SHELLHOUSE-portable”, in Santiago de Chile, to study in depth and discuss the project.
